Claudia and I were chatting the other day about ascribing authorship for the recent series of think-tank actions at Pavillion Hubert-Aquin. Since the action will be presented in December as part of a Master's exhibition at UQAM, and since galleries like names and titles and descriptions, there needs to be a swift decision by the general membership as to whether the piece might be owned collectively or whether one or more of the members might reasonably be said to have authored it exclusively. Formal proposals regarding this decision (in the form of legal notices or short musical compositions) will be accepted for two weeks following this post from members and other concerned parties. Proposals should be posted on the blog for consideration by other members. If no proposals have been received by November 22nd, the name of a member will be chosen at random and authorship will be ascribed to that member exclusively.
